I learned a lot from Doug Reynolds and the video we watched in class. From the video I learned that your thighs should be level with or just above the potter's wheel. I also learned that it is easier to to work if you have all of your supplies in a U-shape in front of you. One more thing I learned was your arm that is on the side of the clay should be lined up with the center of the clay so you can apply the right amount of force and not hurt your wrist. Some things I learned about Doug Reynolds was how he makes different types of pottery like a pot, a plate, and a bowl. I also learned that Doug Reynolds lives around Waverly. One other thing I learned about Doug Reynolds is he does most of his work on a potter's wheel but can also do it other ways.
